Die Gebrüder Freitag und 98 weitere Schweizer Kreative wurden zu einer Porträtaufnahme ins Studio eingeladen. Dann wurden die Gäste aufgefordert eine Konstruktion aus Holzklötzen zu schaffen, die auch fotografisch festgehalten wurde. Das Projekt LET'S PLAY wird im FREITAG Flagship Store vorgestellt.

LET'S PLAY wurde von der Art Directorin Christiane Nill konzipiert und gemeinsam mit dem Fotografen Lionel Henriod realisiert.

In einem mobilen Studio wurden auf einem Tisch 270 Holzblöcke sorgfältig arrangiert und mit einem schwarzen Blatt bedeckt. Damit reisten Christiane und Lionel während 5 Jahren durch die Schweiz und luden 100 Schweizer Designer, Architekten und Kunstschaffende aus allen Landesteilen ein, eine Konstruktion aus den Bausteinen zu erstellen.

Vorab wurden die Teilnehmenden fotografiert und hatten danach 30 Minuten Zeit für ihr Werk. Sie konnten einige oder alle verfügbaren Holzblöcke verwenden, mussten aber auch drei bestimmte Blöcke integrieren, die sie vom vorausgehenden Spielenden erhielten. Das bildete eine Art ‚Staffelstab’ und gab gleichzeitig einen Impuls für das nachfolgende Werk. Nach Fertigstellung wurde die Kreation fotografiert.

Im Jahr 2014 bauten Daniel und Markus Freitag während ihrer LET'S PLAY Session einen kleinen hölzernen FREITAG Tower. Jetzt revanchiert sich FREITAG und lud Christiane und Lionel ein, um verschiedene Designerporträts und Konstruktionen im echten FREITAG Flagship Store zu präsentieren. Das Publikum kann sich die Fotodokumentation ansehen und selbst mitspielen.

The Freitag brothers and 98 other Swiss creative minds were invited to a portrait shot in the studio. Then the guests were asked to create a construction of wooden blocks, which was also photographed. The LET'S PLAY project will be presented in the FREITAG Flagship Store.

LET'S PLAY was conceived by the Art Director Christiane Nill and realized together with the photographer Lionel Henriod.

In a mobile studio, 270 wooden blocks were carefully arranged on a table and covered with a black sheet. Christiane and Lionel travelled through Switzerland for 5 years and invited 100 Swiss designers, architects and artists from all parts of the country to create a structure from the building blocks.

The participants were first portrayed and then had 30 minutes to create a construction. They could use some or all of the available wooden blocks, but also had to integrate three specific blocks received from the previous player. This formed a kind of 'baton' and at the same time gave an impulse for the following work. After completion, the creation was photographed.

In 2014 Daniel and Markus Freitag built a small wooden FREITAG Tower during their LET'S PLAY session. Now FREITAG returned the favor and invited Christiane and Lionel to present various designer portraits and constructions in the real FREITAG flagship store. The public can view the photo documentation and play along themselves.
